We are a Cuban-Icelandic family, sometimes referred to as the icecube family, and international by nature. La Siboneya is hosted by a local host who is a member of the family but marketing and promotion is done in Reykjavik, Iceland. Previously, the team has also operated accommodation in Reykjavik. We love the experience of hosting and meeting people from all over, as well as sharing our experience with them. We want to share the joy of our other beautiful home with guests from all over the world, and help make your travel experience a unique one. Together we are nomads who used to explore the globe. Cuba has always been a special place and from the beginning one thing was clear - we are in love with the island. We kept coming back every few months and understood that this is a love affair for a lifetime and have been exploring the island ever since. We’re excited to share what we’ve found and show you this beautiful corner of the world.
How I really enjoyed my stay at la Siboneya guest house. Very friendly and helpful, they even walk us to search for our Cuban SIM card. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast also was delicious. I think this is an amazing place to stay if you come to La Habana.
